Catalyst Surety Partners, a leading independently owned insurance agency specializing in construction surety bonds, proudly celebrates 10 years of excellence, integrity, and partnership. As Catalyst marks its 10th anniversary, the agency reflects on its journey to date and looks forward to its next decade of helping contractors build their bonding capabilities.

Catalyst was founded in 2014 by two former surety bond underwriters who recognized an inconsistency in the level of surety expertise and service being provided to contractors. Drawing from their experience underwriting the bond needs for some of the largest construction companies in the country, they envisioned a different approach to a contractor’s surety agency relationship — one where personal attention and genuine care would redefine surety relationships for clients of any size.

Since then, the agency has delivered white glove service to hardworking contractors, providing exceptional surety solutions, fostering strong client relationships, and building high levels of trust with their surety underwriting partners. With over 100 years of combined experience behind their team today, Catalyst offers an alternative to large, multi-product agencies, ensuring each client is treated like more than just a number – regardless of the client’s size or the frequency of their bond needs.

“Before Catalyst, we were generating less than $500,000 per year in revenue. They gave us an opportunity when nobody else would,” said Jarred Fuller of Fuller & Co. Now, we've maintained between $25 million and $35 million in revenue over the past two years, performing contracts worth tens of millions of dollars with cities and governments.
